Using the Edger
Once
you’ve settled on a design, clear the area of surface debris. Then use
string or hose to mark your edging line. For the sharpest edge, make
sure the soil is moist, as hard, compact soil is difficult to edge.
Then, simply place the half-moon edger on your line and push down on
the wide comfort footplate.

Using the WeedPopper
Hold
the handle in an upright position and place the tines right over the
weed. Then, with your foot, push the tines into the root system of the
weed. Step down swiftly with your foot, twist the handle, and extract
the weed—roots and all. Finally, dispose of the weed plug by popping it
out, and refill plugged area with topsoil, or grass plugs.
